- Six committee members were able to participate in a hazardous tree review of the park conducted on 7/10 by Council park management along with arborists, maintenance people and its contractor.
- The idea is to address dangerous trees or branches especially near paths and seats – while retaining habitat where possible (it is a bushland park after all!).

- Trees have been temporarily dotted – yellow means removal (possibly not complete), white means pruning. Almost all of the work will be done via tree climbing.
- Subject to the weather, the work is likely to be undertaken on Thursday 30th & Friday 31st October. Council will erect notices at the appropriate time – some paths will be temporarily closed while the work is undertaken.
- The childrens’ playground areas come under a different assessment.
