The scene around 2:30AM with Emergency Services in Attendance
- Just a little late for our March Web News, there was a surprising event (shown above) in Furness Park towards the Blackburn Road end last night.
- Chris, our reporter and photographer on the spot, tells us the event occurred early this morning (3rd April) at about 2:30am. What was presumably a stolen Toyota Hilux was dumped in the park and set alight.
- The problem was soon attended by police and the fire brigade who extinguished the blaze:
