Another new species has been discovered in the Creeklands – a Budgerigar (Melospitaccus undulatus). He is likely to be someone’s escaped pet and unlikely to survive long in the wild.

Our photographer snapped the bird near the new wetland near Laurel Grove (on the northern side of the creek) and a little to the west eating grass seeds.
